  • 1.  Multi-user editing in MapInfo Pro

    Hi Everyone,

    Request to help me in knowing parallel/multi-user editing capability in MapInfo Pro, which can handle versioning of same data and editing by multi-users at the same time. Process like post, reconcile of versions with central data and maintaining data editing history.

    In non-existence of this capability in MapInfo Pro, request to kindly suggest any methodology or workaround in achieving the same task.

    Hi Sarat,

    This can be achieved using MapInfo along with a spatial database such as with SQL Server, Oracle or PostGIS. MapInfo will allow multi-user editing etc..
