    I'm using Map Window insets that are approximately 6cm wide. When I embed a scalebar, it sits in the middle of the page due to Mapinfo Pro blocking it from being near right or left justified. Any solutions that can overwrite this issue e.g. Go to settings etc., would be greatly appreciated. I submitted another identical discussion document earlier, though can't seem to find it and not sure I created within the correct Community. Thank you Jason

    Hi Jason

    I assume you refer to this "border" from the side of the map to the scale bar

    , right?

    It seems strange that you can place the scale bar next to the bottom of the map but need to keep a 1 cm distance to the side of the map.
    Currently, we have no settings that control that distance. The X and Y offset values move the adornment away from the window edge - but only initially. You can move the adornment closer to the edge afterward.
    There is an idea in our Ideas Portal that covers this request: Allow Scalebar to be Positioned with Negative Values. I'd recommend that you give it a vote. Feel free to add a comment too.
