  • 1.  Moving Map Window embedded scalebar closer to Map Window frame

    Hi

    When I produce an embedded scalebar within a map frame, it insists on sitting at least half an inch in from the Map Window frame border. This proves problematic when the Map Windows are insets and the insets are only 5cm wide. Any idea on how to override this limitation, other than using alternative scale bar setup options such as producing it in the layout or manual creation of static scale bars?

    Hi Jason

    I would certainly use the scalebar available with the Layout - it is far more flexible than the older scalebar embedded in the Map Window.

    Especially if your Insets are only 5cm wide!
