I am working for a client that wants to use the long text functionality in WSH Studio to add text to the Material Master Sales Text view.

I am using transaction code MM01 /MM02

After the recording and upon selection of the "Add long Text "button the following message appears ( see below)

The FM that has been installed is: AutomateFM v20.3

hi Maarten,

as far as I know it works only in *02 t-codes so in change codes . Double check if you are not trying to add it in MM01 script.

I think T-code MM01 is not supported.
MM02 should work.
These are the supported t-codes in a previous version:
Check the allowed t-codes for your version.
You could also create a Direct script with /WINSHTLQ/TRN_CREATE_TEXT

Thanks for helping out.  I would like to use trx code MM02 for this.

But as you can see the error message does not allow me to do so.

Any other clue as to why it does not work?

Pascal is right in that we do not recommend a newer version of the FM with an older version of Studio.  The other way around is compatible, but it may not allow you to take advantage of new features.  We recommend that for best results, the FM and Studio versions match.

If you have the FM installed and a newer or equal to version of Studio and it still doesn't work, I suggest you open a support ticket.  They should be able to help look at your system and determine if there are any further steps to take.
