  • 1.  Migrate Mapbasic programs to Python

    Hello colleagues,

    I am looking to modernise my Mapinfo / SSA setup by using Python instead of Mapbasic programs. Unfortunately, I am only trained in Mapbasic so I was wondering if there is a way to migrate my Mapbasic programs into Python?

    I recall that the programs I created using ESRI Model Builder could be saves as Python.

    Hi David

    Unfortunately, there is no single click "upgrade" path.

    Your existing MapBasic tools will keep working so maybe a suggestion would be to start using Python with new tools you are building
