  • 1.  Mass add of Alternate Unit of Measure for Retail (Carhartt)

    I'm working with Carhartt. We created a script using MM42 although not able to use it when the material has more than 4 units of measures exists due to the screen limitation.  Tried to use BAPI  (BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA) was able to get it to work on nonretail materials but it does not work on retail materials. This is the error that we receive "You must use retail functions to process the material xxxxxx-xxx"

    We tried MM46 (Mass for retail) and selected MARM. We were not able to find an Alternate unit of measure field.  Also, it seems MM46 only allows changes and not additional as MASS tcode does. Carhartt developer does not have access to MM17/MASS. 

    Has anyone created a Studio script to add Alternate unit of measure entries for retail materials?

    Hi Elisa
    Have you tried the RT version of the same bapi: BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT
    It has UOM tables in it, too
