MapInfo Pro is probably more geared at working with the output generated from such software.
With the capabilities in MapInfo Pro Advanced (the Raster capabilities), you can work with DSM, and DTM and generate raster grids from Point Cloud datasets too. MapInfo Pro Advanced has specific features for creating raster grids from point clouds taking the classification into account.
There are a
few articles in the community on this topic. And
a few articles on Tree Canopy Analysis too.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply. I actually wanted to know, whether there is any engine like Pix4D present inside MapInfo Pro Drone for getting the datasets that are mentioned earlier in my post.
Regards,
Sarat.

That depends on the project you ask the drone pilot to do for you.
MapInfo Pro Drone is more about finding a drone pilot and getting a quote for a project than it is about creating the actual resulting datasets.
