  • 1.  MapInfo not loading fully

    In the last week, MapInfo 23.2 has stopped loading fully on my workccomputer, it gets as far as the screen reading "welcome to MapInfo pro" then drops out.

    It worked fine two days earlier,  and the only change I can think of in some Windows updates ( 11 pro 24h2).

    If that isn'tbad enough, I've found that I am unable to login to Precisely Communities on either my work or personal computers either in recent days, and can only do so on my personal phone, I  get a message reading "insufficient privileges ", for both the accounts in my work and personal emails (MapInfo is on both computers,  with separate licenses).

    I think you need to contact Precisely Support or your supplier on this. 

    Everything is working here for me.

    John / all,

    I was able to fix things (with the help of IT support for work) by uninstalling the current build -> rebooting the work PC -> renaming the original profiles folders -> installing an earlier build of MapInfo v23.2.

    MapInfo is now running OK, so the issue may have been with the profiles??

    John,

    Have you been able to log into the communities again? Are you able to log in to the Support Center Case Management System?

    If not, send me the login email address, and I'll ask someone to look into it for you.

    I've been able to login on my personal PC now using my personal email for this reply, will check in the morning on the work PC and the work email.

    And I've now been able to login OK from my work PC with my work email address, after rejoining the group.
