Subject: MapInfo Layout frame
I have set up a couple of maps in the same workspace, some using only Ordnance Survey tabs and another map using both OS tab with one that I have created.
The maps using just the OS data work fine and open in a layout frame without a problem. Whereas maps combining OS and tab layers I've generated don't and produce the error message.
Also when opening a workspace using just OS data they open without a problem. When I add one of my tab files then I get an error message.
This tells me there is obviously something wrong with the tab files that I have previously used without any issues.
I need to do some more digging as there are colleagues I work with who also use and occasionally edit the tab files.
I will start off by making sure all of the tab files are packed.
Thanks Peter your help is really appreciated.

To me it sounds as if the workspace refers to a column, for example in a label expression, that doesn't exists.
Don't you get a similar error when you open the workspace?
Thanks
Peter

Thanks Peter
Yes it allows me to select the individual tab layers from the dropdown yet when these layers are already combined in a map it won't open them into a Layout frame.
I am working with tables in workspaces where I have previously been able to create layouts from maps with multiple tab layers in but they don't now work as they used to.
I will make sure that each of the tabs files are packed and saved and try again.
Chris

Hi
I wonder if that error relates to a column that no longer exists in a table?
Can you try selecting New Map from the Map dropdown on the Layout tab, and then select just one table to add to the map.
Does that work?

I am trying to get a map frame into a Layout in 2023. Unfortunately all previous methods I have used, now don't work in this new version.
I have tried to drag a map window into a Layout and from the Layout Window
Also in a Layout frame, select the map from the menu and the the map required from the drop down and all that produces is this!
