  • 1.  Mapinfo compatibility - windows 11

    Hello,
    We want to move from Windows 10 to Windows 11. In this case, we would like to know if the Mapinfo 2021.1 software and the Mapinfo 11 software are compatible with this latest version of Windows.

    According to the Install Guide for MapInfo Pro v2021, it supports these operating systems:

    This product (v2021 that is) is tested on the following Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems:

    • Windows 10 64-bit
    • Windows 11 64-bit
    • Windows 2019 Server
    • Windows 2019 Server 64-bit with XenApp 7.9
    • Windows 2019 Server 64-bit with Citrix Virtual Apps 1912
    • Windows 2022 Server 64-bit

    MapInfo Professional v11.0, on the other hand, was built long before these operating systems were considered :-)

    MapInfo Professional (v11.0 that is) supports the following Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems:

    • Windows XP Professional 32-bit Service Pack 3 (SP3)
    • Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1
    • Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 with 32-bit compatibility mode
    • Windows 2008 Server 32-bit SP2
    • Windows 2008 Server 32-bit SP2 with XenServer
    • Windows 2008 Server R2 64-bit SP1

    Is there a specific reason that you are still using this old version of MapInfo Pro?
