    MailStream Plus v8.4.5 – Release Announcement 

    Abstract 

    Precisely announces the release of MailStream Plus version 8.4.5.  

    Feature Additions in this Release 

    MailStream Plus v8.4.5 includes the mandatory USPS preparation and pricing mandates that are effective on July 9, 2023.  

    The USPS has modified and renamed First Class Parcel Select (FCPS) to USPS Ground Advantage.  Current MailStream Plus FCPS mailers will have no impact migrating to USPS Ground Advantage with MailStream Plus continuing to support preparation of Parcels weighing less than one pound in support of the USPS Ground Advantage feature. Please refer to the MailStream Plus v8.4.5 Release notes for more details. 

    MailStream Plus v8.4.5 includes support of changes (or Errata) for the following Mail.dat versions: 

    • Mail.dat v23-1 

    • Mail.dat v22-1

    The new version of MailStream Plus 8.4.5 Should only be used for mailing that are entered on or after July
    9th, 2023. For mailing prior to this they should use MailStream Plus 8.4.4

    Hello Grant, the update can be downloaded from Precisely Data Experience.

    The updated database files for MSP will be under My Data Products > USPS Reference Files; the software is under My Software Products > MailStream Plus. The product download page for MailStream will show multiple download links, one for each of the various supported platforms (Windows, Linux etc.)

    When I go to the Precisely link provided, this is what I see.

     

     

    Then if I click on the MailStream Plus link, I see this, and I believe this is the one I want.
