MailStream Plus v2026.6 – Release Announcement

    ___________________________________________________________________________________________________

    Abstract

Precisely announces the release of MailStream Plus version 2026.6.

    Feature Additions in this Release

MailStream Plus v2026.6 includes the mandatory USPS preparation and pricing mandates that will be effective on July 12, 2026 and other features including:

    ·      Removed ADC rate and preparation

    ·      Restructured Periodical outside country rate structure to resemble USPS Marketing Mail pricing

    ·      Aligned the price structure for Bound Printed Matter Flats & Parcels

    ·      Elimination of bundling for Marketing Mail Flats prepared in tubs

    ·      Added support for Heavy Printed Matter (HPM)

The USPS retired Manifest Mailing System (Publication 401) effective April 1, 2026. To align with this change, MailStream Plus 2026.06 retired MMS-specific outputs and aligns rate identifiers with Mail.dat.

With the retirement of Publication 401, our current plans are to remove the Manifest Report feature (REPORT MANIFEST) with the December 2027 release. If you have plans to continue use of the Manifest Report feature past the plan December 2027 release, please submit an MailStream Plus Ideas outlining your use for evaluation.

MailStream Plus v2026.6 includes support of changes (or Errata) for the following Mail.dat versions:

    -       Mail.dat v26-1

    -       Mail.dat v25-1

For further information please refer to the Release Notes.
