The MailstreamPlus v2024.6 replaced the SCF SQ with LPC SQ.  See below.  We haven't used  SCF SQ since the 2024.6 install.  Is the S03 patch intended for both SCF SQ and LPC SQ?

    Hi Barb,

Today MailStream Plus will still allow the SCF SQ and SCF PT because the USPS still uses the SCF verbiage and has not 100 % moved over to LPC.

The SCF SQ and LPC SQ parameters are for you to override out internal values.

The S03 update corrects an issue that MailStream Plus had internally with the SCF/LPC values.

    Thanks,

Thank you, Mary, for the quick response.   Cn you help us focus our testing of this patch?  The original patch notice mentions this problem could cause a single mixed pallet to be split into two pallets.  Can you provide an example of how this would happen?  Also, does this problem affect only mixed pallets or could this affect other pallet types.

    Hi Barb,

The issue was only with the MXD WKG level pallets.

    Pallet 1                 MXD

    Pallet 2                 MXD

These were both small and should have been made into a single MIXD WKG pallet. They were in the same entry point.

This issue only happened on the IBMi and z/OS platforms.

Once the S03 patch was installed and the internal SCF Number was corrected, the presort correctly just made 1 MXD WKG pallet.

    Thanks,

Appreciate the added detail!  Is this problem connected to a certain SCF number or all SCF numbers?    If it's a certain SCF number, could you provide that SCF number?

I noticed this patch is named S03.  Did we miss a S02 patch?  Just curious since you skipped from S01 to S03 patch numbering.  Thank you for your help!

    Hi Barb,

No, this is not connected to a specific SCF.

Please open a case to work directly with a Technical support rep and your continued specific questions.

    Thanks,
