Is this patch mandatory for upcoming rate increase ? Also we noticed a new USPS reference data set release today same question should we be using that and redo our testing?

Yes, the patch is mandatory for upcoming rate increase!! The USPS Reference files that were released have the Induction date of August 1st meaning they should be used for mailing that are being processed on August 1st or after that DATE. The data base that should be used is the June database that arrived with the release of MSPv2026.6.

Hello Derek,

With the release of the C01 patch there was a new release of the June database files vintage DEM062026. The July would be DEM072026.

Hope that makes sense now.

So, what is sounds like is even though I've installed the S01 Patch --- I now have to install also the C01 Patch and the above data by 7/12 ? Which means retesting again?

Hello Derek,

With the release of the C01 patch there was a new release of the June database files vintage DEM062026. The July would be DEM072026.

Does C01 need to go on top of S01 or can it be applied to the base F01 libs?   Right now we declined to apply S01.

We already have an S01 Patch installed to deal with #1 on your list.  Are we ok to just apply this new patch like we normally would?

Yes, the C01 is installed just like the S01 patch. It only includes a handful of programs and is not a full install of all programs. The C01 does include the PQT issue that was resolved in the S01 patch.

This week we release the  MSP 2026.6 C01 patch. For item 5 - Corrected Issues with the 3541 Postage Statement. (Note. A new June PRF was also released along with this patch for this issue)

For this an updated June PRF was released.

Yesterday, the July PRF were released for MSP 2026.6 for mailers that have mailings that are going to the USPS Aug. 1^st or later. It also includes the changes that were made to the 2^nd June PRF files.

If you have mailings going to the USP before Aug. 1^st, then these mailings should be using the June PRF files.

Based on what you are telling me it sounds like i should have two postal reference files, a new one for July and a replacement for June but I am only seeing one available on our downloads page and its named DEM062026, which is the same name as the file i downloaded on June 22nd when the MSP was 2026.6 was released.  As far as I can tell there is no July file available and this is named like its still the June file.

Sorry to be so late to the party on this, but is this C01 patch cumulative on top of the S01 patch released previously, or can we skip the S01 patch and go to the C01 patch directly?
