    hi experts, 

    anyone has script for label data view update? or is it possible to use some BAPI for maintenance?

    I found it  difficult if you have multiple alternative units created as there is no navigation/sorting possible

    I don't, as I don't have a material view called "Label".  Can you please share a screenshot and if you have either a customization or industry-specific SAP system? Also are you ECC or S4? Please advise.

    As for alternate UOM, you can use GUI scripting mode or a BAPI. If you search in the community you'll find a lot of posts in the community and from support:

    hi Sigrid,

     thanks for your answer. We have it in our S4 environment. I tried to use GUI scripting with index condition, but somehow it doesn't work as needed.

    Hi Radoslav,

    as the screen sequence starts with Z and the screen number with 9, it seems to be a customer specific view.

    Now if you go on the fields in this screen with F1 and look for the field name, you can find out if some of the fields may be standard fields (not starting with Z). Then you may have the chance to reach them via a BAPI.

    Hi again Radoslav

    We can often automate custom tcode and customized standard tcodes, but it depends on how they were customized.

    From your screenshots, it doesn't look to be setup to (easily?) automate that portion of your material master. 

    Anke is correct that if you have already tried standard recording modes and GUI scripting, a remote-enabled FM or BAPI would be best. 

    You may want to check with your SAP Basis team to see if they can either change the customization or provide a BAPI that can be used in Direct to maintain the Label data.
