  • 1.  Is there a way for force Winshuttle to pass in a space before a text?

    I'm running IL02 to change characteristics value.  I'm searching for AFE, it returns the first one found which is actually SAFETY.  If i enter a space before AFE it finds the correct one.  However, in Winshuttle when I put a space before AFE it just passes in AFE so search is finding the wrong entry.  Padding with spaces does not work either, it puts a bunch of spaces before AFE and it can't find any entries.

    Hi Anita,

    There are a couple things you can try. The first would be to enter ' AFE in Excel which will add a space before AFE. There is also an option in Studio that trims leading and trailing spaces so you can try unchecking "Trim leading spaces" to see if that makes a difference.

    I hope one of these options works. If they don't work, please send your script and data file so we can take a look.
