Ironstream for z/OS v2.1.13 Service Pack Notice

Abstract
Precisely announces the release of a new Service Pack for Ironstream for z/OS v2.5. and later.
All Ironstream maintenance is cumulative. This provides a simple means of upgrading to the latest maintenance and features from any previous level of Ironstream for z/OS v2.5. and later This Service Pack brings Ironstream to v2.1.13.
In summary, this Service Pack contains these changes:

|
Splunk now receives complete SMF Type 71 activity - fields such as SMF71AVF that were previously dropped are now delivered.

|
TPX session manager activity (SMF Type 211) can now be captured and forwarded to your SIEM and analytics platforms.

SDF21R3
|
Resolves a SYSOUT Forwarder failure (message SDF0551A) that could interrupt data forwarding.

|
SMF Type 207 records now carry the correct Kafka topic, so events land in the intended destination.

SDF21R5
|
Kafka streaming now supports the latest Kafka versions, running on Java 11, 17, and 21.

|
Rolls the above into Service Pack v2.1.13 (all Ironstream maintenance is cumulative).

Important Note
Application of service pack 2.1.5 or later removes the Ironstream Starter Edition feature that allowed Ironstream to run in a limited mode without a valid key. If you believe this will affect you, please contact your account representative to discuss your use of Ironstream before upgrading to this Service Pack.
