Ironstream Agent for IBM i 7.4 Cumulative Patch J Notice
Abstract
Precisely announces the release of a new cumulative patch J for the Ironstream Agent for IBM i 7.4.
This updated component release provides these new features:
Improves system stability by preventing the EVMSGQMON job from terminating when EVUSER lacks permission to view a message queue. Instead, a clear warning is logged so processing can continue without interruption. Data queues are now created with EVUSER ownership to reduce authorization errors and avoid recurring permission issues. This change lowers operational risk, improves resilience in restricted environments, and reduces the need for manual intervention or support tickets.
