If you use Studio with Studio Manager or with Evolve, you can stop reading this since this post doesn't apply to you.  Last year in March, we previously announced end of life of Studio with Connect effective September 1, 2025.  It is now about 6 months until that date.  Most customers have either started or completed their migration to  Studio with Studio Administrator which is the successor product and we recommend customers who haven't started their migration of all their licenses to plan to migrate to version 25.0 that is being released in March 2025 since it is the latest version. As a reminder, the Studio with Connect product (This includes Studio versions 20.x, 12.x, 11.x, 10.x and earlier) will cease to work after this September end of life date so please plan to act well before that date to avoid any disruption to your organization.

If you haven't been in communications with your Renewals Account Manager or partner that services you regarding this topic, please open a customer support case  to speak with a Precisely representative to ensure that you have the necessary information to plan your migration since you will require new licenses for Studio with Studio Administrator as well as upgrade your version of Studio for your licensed users.

I'd like to reiterate the importance of this announcement if you're using Studio without User Governance/Studio Manager or Foundation/Evolve.  

Standalone Studio versions prior to v24.0 use Connect, our cloud-based license management system.  That will stop working September 1st, 2025.  That means you will not be able to sign into Studio (or Transaction/Direct/Query if on v10.x), which means you can no longer use it.

Please reach out to your account team to discuss upgrading and the move to Studio Administrator for license management.  In addition to upgrading to the latest Studio releases, it will provide for a more modern interface than Connect and more secure authentication options.  Please check out the links Tim provided above, as the migration can be simplified by exporting users from Connect and importing them into Studio Administrator.
