  • 1.  IE02 Proactive Data tab use If on Index condition

    Posted 24 days ago

    Hi everyone,

I have been tasked with updating a field on a proactive data tab in our IE02 t-code. I would like to confirm if it is possible to update.

The layout looks to be a custom table not allowing GUI scripting to work. I have attached the recording in GUI scripting for reference.

    Thank you, in advance.

    Hi Benjamin

This is super tough for us to suggest because it's a custom part of a standard tcode.  I suggest you open a support ticket if GUI scripting isn't capturing the fields to see if they can help you one-on-one.

With GUI scripting, if it's a read only field you will index on - please remember to click on the small pop-up to capture read only fields - and then click it again to turn it off once you've captured it.  You'll know you've captured it by a red box showing up around the field.

In your script it does look like you've captured it - it will show up as a download field like in line 11 below

what you'll want to do is use an Indexed IF for the date entry and compare it to a column value in your excel sheet - the IF would include line 12 - where you set the date.  Then you would disable line 11, because you don't want to download it - you just wanted to capture it for the comparison - the txtZRPOACT2 field.

For some reason in your script, I cannot choose Indexed IF but it would look something like this (example for material master alternate units of measure changes (although I'd prefer a BAPI over GUI scripting where possible)
