  • 1.  How do update Vendor Email address and remark

    Dear All,

    I must update Vendors' Email addresses and note (remark). However, it only works well, in a case where one E-Mail exist. An additional Email and Remark (QMEL) can be added without any issue.

     Where two E-mail addresses exist, only the email is updated, and the note (Remark) is inherited from the existing email.

     Additionally, the remark should be created in three languages. How can one go about all the challenges? Has anyone gotten an on hand experience in what we want to do?

    I will be more delighted to read from anyone willing to share knowledge.

    Two options that I can think of 
    (1) GUI scripting with an indexed if on the email address

    (2) BAPI_ADDRESSORG_CHANGE - but you must pass in the id to identify the email address row.  Please note I've only ever used this in ECC, but it exists in S4, as well.

    You will have to use this structure for the notes.  Notice the language code, so it will accommodate your language requirement.

    Don't forget to use the accompanying "X" version to tell SAP which fields you will upload.

    It also has the update flag - I to insert, U to update, D to delete.  You cannot mix and match - they have to all be I or U or D.
