MailStream Plus Postal Preparation

In the January DB updates, PRFMLCTL displays a size of 63,128KB in file explorer (after download and unzip).

In the February DB updates, PFRMLCTL displays a size of 399,126KB in file explorer.

Is there an explanation for this?  Could this be causing my update job to abend?  I'm not very familiar with how this works, as I just run the jobs and (up until now) they just work.

EDIT: I went back through and adjusted the allocated size for the dataset receiving this file and the jobs no longer abend.  But I still don't understand why the file is over 6x the size it has been.

Hello Gary,

The USPS made a change to the PRFMLCTL data base information as they did not properly inform the vendors. Our development had to adjust the data to to accommodate change causing for the increase in file size. Please be assured our checking with the development team to verify the data base files for February are correct and the PRFMLCTL will be back to a normal size with the release of the March data base files.
