    Hi everyone,

I've been using Data360 Govern for a few weeks now and would like to share an idea with the community. I'm hoping others can provide feedback, and perhaps Precisely might consider it as a future enhancement.

In data quality reporting, I believe that showing the fault percentage is often more effective than showing the good percentage.

Why fault percentage can be more valuable

    Drives action

    • High error percentages immediately attract attention.
    • Teams tend to react faster when they can clearly see what is wrong.

    Highlights actual risk

    • A score of 99% good quality may sound excellent, but in large datasets it can still represent thousands of incorrect records.
    • Displaying a 1% error rate makes the scale of the problem easier to understand.

    Improves decision-making

    • The metric directly points to where improvement efforts are needed.

    Current limitation

Unfortunately, this approach is difficult to implement in Data360 Govern because the DQ score color scheme is fixed. Red always starts at 0% and green always ends at 100%.

The screenshot shows the current score band configuration in Data360 Govern. While the thresholds can be adjusted, the color direction cannot. Red always starts at 0% and green always ends at 100%.

As a result, it is not possible to reverse the interpretation and use fault percentages while keeping the visual indicators aligned with the message. For example, a higher fault percentage should become red instead of green.

Thank you for taking the time to read my suggestion. As a new Data360 Govern user, this is actually my first post in the community, so I hope it sparks an interesting discussion. I'm curious to hear how other organizations approach Data Quality scoring and whether you see value in a configurable or reversible color scale. Do you think this would be a useful feature for Data360 Govern, or do you prefer the current implementation? I look forward to hearing your thoughts and learning from the community's experiences. 😁
