Hi - I have several studio queries  / reports that I run for the business on adhoc basis with output in excel.

Is it possible to create a self-service template in Evolve and allow the user to execute the same. Add the query criteria input fields to the form, allow the user to select base on their needs and execute the webservice but output still in excel and not as a repeating table / group on the form? (relatively large record set, 20 fields, 40,000 records)

    Thank you for your guidance.

Evolve Reports functionality actually works fine :-) I will publish and schedule reports  - no need to take this to a template, thank you

    Hi Renette

While that may be possible, I think it would be tricky.

You may be able to find a way to write search criteria from the form to the Excel workbook, and then use the IN operator to read the search criteria from the workbook.

Then you would want to execute the script.  That may be possible via the command line interface, but you would have to find a way to trigger it from the form/workflow.

I think you'd probably have to use powershell scripts, or something like that, and those excel workbooks would have to be copied for a particular process, then written to and run.

This is outside of my area of expertise. Does anyone else have an idea for Renette?

    Best Regards,

    Sigrid
