  • 1.  error: 'input value is longer than the dynpro field'

    Hello everyone,

    I've started to use a Winshuttle studio to run simple scripts for my company.. and now I'm working on the issue reported by one of the users..
    In the past, User were using a script to load basic data to PLP.  A few weeks ago User was trying to use the same script for same action but noticed an error:

    In the meantime, few months ago, we've started to use Windows O365 so I thought that it may cause an issue..
    That's why I've decided to recreate/record new script..

    And right now I'm facing an issue:

    I've made several tests with different basic data fields etc.. no matter which field I'm trying to update always get the issue 'input value is longer than the dynpro field)..

    Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong? Is the error from User and this error from my script are related with the same reason?

    Hi Magdelena,
    Office versions wouldn't typically be the cause of this type of error.  I've been running scripts old and new for about 13 years and have gone through many version s of office.
    The message is pointing to gross weight.  Can you please double check the mapping, perhaps look to see if it is text & blank padded, or post the script and template here so that we can take a look?
