Organizations managing large volumes of digital assets in EnterWorks frequently encounter a processing bottleneck: DAM Upload jobs execute sequentially in strict first-in, first-out order. The platform provides no native mechanism to differentiate between urgent and routine uploads. As a result, high-priority files submitted after a large batch of low-priority assets must wait for the entire preceding queue to complete before processing begins - an outcome that can significantly delay time-sensitive workflows.

This session presents a solution architecture that introduces priority-based segregation for DAM Upload jobs. The approach establishes a dedicated staging directory for low-priority files, which a PowerShell script then feeds into the processing pipeline in controlled batches based on current queue depth. High-priority files, whether placed directly in the DAMDrop folder or submitted via the standard UI, bypass this staging mechanism and are processed before any pending low-priority work. A custom upload widget further extends this capability to end users, enabling them to designate assets as low-priority directly within the EnterWorks Business UI.

The session provides comprehensive coverage of the solution, including the creation and behavior of DAM Upload jobs, the design of the prioritized folder structure, integration with the EnterWorks Monitor REST API for real-time queue awareness, configuration and deployment of the custom upload widget, and the scheduling infrastructure required to automate the process via Windows Task Scheduler. The session includes a live demonstration in which high-priority files are shown advancing ahead of a queue containing over one thousand low-priority assets.

This session is recommended for EnterWorks administrators, solution architects, and technical stakeholders who manage digital asset ingestion workflows at scale.
