Precisely announces the release of Enforcive Enterprise Security 8.4.07.01. This release requires either a new install or an upgrade from previous versions of Enforcive Enterprise Security.
Precisely strongly encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to the latest release for Enforcive Enterprise Security. Details of the fixes and new features contained within this release can be found in the associated Readme document.
Overview of Features and Functionality
Accelerator Package Reports
Customers who have the accelerator package will benefit from several new reports that have been integrated into the report generator. These additional reports are available under the IBM i NetServer report type.
Each of the newly added reports is easily identifiable by the "CIS Accelerator Package" prefix. Importantly, these reports adhere to the CIS benchmark standards for operating systems V7R4 and V7R5 open, ensuring compliance and enhanced security assessment capabilities.
Report Generator Enhancements
The 8.4.07.01 release introduces significant updates to the report generator feature within Enforcive Enterprise Security. Notably, a new report type-SMTP Attribute-has been added. This report enables users to view and analyze the SMTP attributes configured on their IBM i server, providing improved visibility and management capabilities.
Additionally, an FTP Attribute report type is now available. This report is designed to display the FTP attributes of the IBM i server, allowing for more comprehensive monitoring and assessment of server configurations.
Alongside these feature enhancements, several fixes have been implemented in this release to enhance stability and performance. For further details about the specific fixes included, users are encouraged to consult the accompanying Readme file.

Enterprise Security Manager – Report Generator Email requirements
- Java 8 is required by version 8.4.02 and higher. Customers need to ensure that Java 8 is available on the systems where the product is installed.
IBM i OS Levels supported:
- IBM i V7R3M0 or greater (see restrictions for specific modules in the ReadMe)
