Is it possible for me to edit/update a query that was created and published by another developer?

Yes, Michelle.  It's only limited by (1) your license type - Developer is needed  (2) and if you have server-based products like Studio Manager or Evolve, by your access to the App they are stored in.

Hi Michelle

If you are desktop, open it from wherever it's stored. 

If on a server-based product, you can open it from the server and then save a local copy to workout your changes and then re-submit it once done. Or you can go to the server site - like in Studio manager, view the solutions, and find the query and select it and choose export.
