    Data360 Govern has been updated to allow down-level (production to non-production) database copies

     

    Why?

    We have recently performed an upgrade to development and UAT databases to an architecture called Hyperscale.  Production databases have already been updated to Hyperscale.  This architecture allows for more streamlined failover, increased performance capabilities, and much larger database sizes. 

    What's Changing?

    Now that there is no longer an architectural difference between production and non-production databases, we are again able to support down-level (prod to non-prod) migration of environments.

    Up-level migrations (non-prod to prod) have always been supported.
