    Data360 Analyze 3.14.0 Release Announcement

The Data360 Analyze version 3.14.0 has been released and can be downloaded from here Precisely Data Experience Platform

This is a new Generally Available Long Term Support Release for Version 3.14 that provides the following features/fixes:

    Shared Service

With the addition of the new "Data Repository" feature (described below), you can now deploy Analyze as a "Shared Service" for use by multiple business teams/groups within your business, with the assurance that they will only have access to the Data Flows, Nodes, Schedules, and Data files that they are configured to have access to.

    Data Repository

The new "Data Repository" feature allows you to manage and permission access to data stored on file systems through the Analyze directory pages. You can upload and download data files in the Directory, ready for use in your data flows and nodes. These assets can then be permissioned in such a way that only those who have the correct permissions can access the files, this applies to access via both in the Directory and from nodes within a Data Flow.

The data you can access can be stored either on the Analyze local file system or on a shared drive. More details about the Server and Desktop editions of this new enhancement can be found in the attached Release note.

    Publish to DQ+ node

The previously experimental "Publish to DQ+" node is now fully supported, with the addition of New Proxy and Retry connection properties to the node.

    Usability Enhancements

Some of the Usability enhancements included in this release are:

    • Shortcut to insert bendpoints that helps in streamlining the process of inserting a bend points in a data flow
    • Defining Input and Output pin limits on library nodes
    •  Navigate to view error details - Clicking on a node status with an error navigates to the corresponding error detail in the Errors panel.
    •  Improved Performance of the user interface when using the application for long periods

    Error messaging improvements

For security purposes, you can now configure the text for all unexpected error messages returned by REST APIs to be redacted. Although the error messages will be replaced by a configurable message that indicates to check the application logs, the error codes will still be reported.

    Other changes and Bug Fixes

For all other changes and a list of bug fixes please refer to the attached Release Note.
