Hi

MapInfo Pro Version 2021.1 Release build 25. I wonder why some labels won't show (Missing_name.png) when I use "Curved" setting (Label_properties.png). Layer has first priority (Label_priority.png). Labeled layer is MSR_Riigieesvoolud_050520 ("MSR_Riigieesvoolud_050520.zip) and labeled field is "EHITISE_NIMI" (Labeled_field.png). (I have 175 layouts to make and every layout needs to have MSR_Riigieesvoolud_050520 "EHITISE_NIMI" (basically river name) for every MSR_Riigieesvoolud_050520 object (basically every river)).

Would it be possible to also share the workspace with your layout?
One option could be to close all your other tables and also have the table SR_Riigieesvoolud_050520 open and now save this into a new workspace and share this wor file.

One option worth trying to get the label to show is to allow rotated as fallback and maybe also allow overlapping text.

Labeling jagged lines like rivers can be a challenge.

Have you tried thinning the rivers ( a copy of the rivers) and using this layer for labels but still only showing the original unthinned river lines?

Here is a map showing the labels for the original river layer

Here is a map showing the rivers and a thinned version of the rivers (shown in red)

I used these settings for thinning the lines. I started with smaller values around 25/50 meters and gradually moved towards higher values.

Here's the resulting map with labels using the thinned rivers. I'm not saying this is the perfect result. For some rivers, it works better. For others, I may have thinned the line too much. It's a balance.

I was able to get the label to appear by checking the option Allow rotated as fallback in the Layer Properties dialog, see image below
