Automate

Inquiring whether anyone in the group has experience with or knowledge of the Winshuttle extract process for component allocation. The fully exploded BOM as seen in CA03 component allocation is what I envision. However, I'm open to alternate methods that others utilize to extract the BOM and the activity related to component allocation. Any and all ideas are welcome. All-in-one extract to several extract processes are what I have considered. Tables that we have tried to work with are MAPL, PLMZ, MAST, STOP, POPO.

That's quite an ask! :)  It takes me back to my IT days long ago where I had a project to do just that - but not in SAP.

Query alone isn't going to do the trick, as you have to extract the BOM headers at each level and then go for the next level.  But even then, you'd have to sort it properly, and that could get ugly.

I'm not familiar with component allocations in that tcode.  If you can provide some screen shots on the steps you use?  That could help.  You may also want to look for a BAPI if this is a tcode that doesn't allow you to position in the grid properly - and with a BOM explosion, there's a chance the same component could be in there multiple times.
