  • 1.  Capture Errors and Validation from display message dialog box in SAP to Logfield

    Hi Team,

    I want to record the display message in SAP which Pop up when there is error in data entered while trying to save it to SAP. In studio using standard validate and test don't display the error in LogField in script which we get in these display message. Is there a way we can capture this validation while recording the script.

    Hi Veena

    Have you tried enabling "Extended Log".  You can see it near the top in Expert Mode in the mapper.  It should capture more messages - warning and errors, but sometimes it depends on the tcode, as messages in a pop-up may not be captured, but it's worth a try.  Please note it is available only for non-batch recording modes, i.e. not for Batch or GUI Scripting

    Hi Sigrid,

     

    I have tried ExtendedLog it doesn't capture .And there many validations rule built on their server which display in dialog box.

    When I click validate, it says "Success" but it has errors, When click on "Test" it Create Spool request and in spool request I see the display message which is not captured.
