Is the patch currently available? (new patch from original link). I can't get it to download, clicking on the link it gives me an error page as follows:
Yeah, we are struggling with Microsoft Defender as it identifies our patch as "insecure". We have our IT look into it.
Hi Peter. We are also having similar issues with the install of the Bing update (as well as MI Pro V2023) on a machine that has Microsoft Defender as part of its base IT system set-up. Both installs have worked on another machine that does not have MS Defender involved.
Be interested in any developments (the V2023 install issue has been registered with Tech.Support but not yet resolved).
I also have an incident logged with our internal IT Group to see if they can unlock the system to allow the installs.
So far, the problems I have seen have all been related to downloading the Bing Patch. So this is just another issue, I guess. Keep working on this issue through our support team.
We plan to post a new build of v2023 this week if all goes well. This will have support for the last languages. This will have support for Bing in 2024. This may be a possible workaround for you as you are on v2023, Tony. We'll post to the community when the new build is available.
