Thanks for confirming. I must have been testing with a trial last time I used Move To, which is why I was confused when the Bing patch didn't activate it.

Hi Tom,
Move To is a Premium feature and has always been. It's only available with the Premium upgrade and in the 30-day trial.
Cheers
Peter

Is 'Move To' now a Premium feature? Like Bing Roads it just says it is not available for Pro Viewer. Thanks!

Hi Martin
I'm afraid so. The extra payment for Premium does go to Microsoft. I can't remember when this change happened - it was a good few fortnights ago!
Have you tried the free Precisely Bronze though? (OSM in Precisely clothing)

I've lost access to the Bing basemaps. My IT support people have run the Bing patch from MapInfo Pro Bing Service Update | MapInfo Pro Product Announcements (precisely.com) but this hasn't worked.
Our IT people have also told me that " If the MapInfo Pro Serial number does not have a "P" for Premium in the letters of the serial number, the license will only provide access to Bing Aerial and Bing Hybrid maps. A "Premium" serial number is necessary for accessing Bing Roads. "
I don't have a premium licence but don't recall this being an issue previously. Is this a change or was it always like that?
Any ideas why the Bing Service Update doesn't work?
