Assure Security 7.0.02.00 - Service Pack Notification
Announcement
Precisely announces the release of Assure Security 7.0.02.00. This release provides either a new install or an upgrade from the previous version of Assure Security.
Precisely encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to the latest release for Assure Security. Details of the fixes and new features contained within this release can be found in the associated ReadMe document.
NOTE: With the release of the 7.0 version, Precisely will no longer provide service packs for version 6.0 as of June 28, 2023 and support will be withdrawn for versions prior to version 6.0. . In addition, there is no direct migration or upgrade path from legacy Cilasoft and Townsend products to Assure Security 7.0. You will need to first upgrade or migrate to a recent version 6.0 service pack and then upgrade to version 7.0.

Precisely Data Experience allows customers to access their licensed products for download. To access the software and license tools, you must have a Precisely (Customer or Partner) Community account established and have license entitlement. Summary of Feature Additions or Changes
This release includes support of IBM I OS 7.5 and improvements to the User Interface for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) introduced in 7.0.01. This new graphical user interface provides an easier, more intuitive workflow for administrators in managing authentication on IBM i. The simplified and streamlined interface will dramatically minimize the time required to manage the MFA capabilities of Assure Security. In addition to these improvements, several fixes are delivered in 7.0.02.
