    Announcement

    Precisely announces the release of Assure MIMIX for AIX 5.2.06.00.

    Precisely encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to the latest release for Assure MIMIX for AIX.  Details of this release can be found in the associated Release Notes.

    How to Download and Activate the Software

    To access the software and license tools, you must have a Precisely (Customer or Partner) Community account established and have license entitlement.

    Installation Procedures

    Summary of Feature Additions or Changes

    • Users now can configure and run replication at the physical volume level using the SMIT interface making configuration simpler. This feature is especially useful when multiple volumes require replication.
    • Users now have the option to automatically configure Logical Volumes to be replicated to the same Volume Groups on the target system thereby simplifying configuration.
    • Users can now add mounted file systems to replication without downtime.
    • Users adding a 2nd replication target for DR or migration will use multithreaded replication for both targets, which delivers improved performance.
    • This release includes 3 fixes.

    Supported Windows OS for the Assure Unified Interface Server on Windows:

    • Windows® 10, Windows Server 2016, Windows® Server 2012R2, Windows Server 2019
