    Assure MIMIX 10.0.20   

    Announcement

    Precisely announces the release of Assure MIMIX 10.0.20.00. This release provides either a new install or an upgrade from all previous release levels of Assure MIMIX 10.0 and 9.0.

    Precisely encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to the latest release for Assure MIMIX.  Details of the fixes and new features contained within this release can be found in the associated Release Notes.  

    How to Download and Activate the Assure MIMIX Software

    To access the software and license tools, you must have a Precisely (Customer or Partner) Community account established and have license entitlement.

    Run the Install Wizard on a Windows PC to install the software and apply license keys.  Other options to install and apply license keys are documented in the License Manager for IBM i Products manual.

    *Note:  Assure iOptimize files are available in the Assure MIMIX download folders.  Assure MIMIX 10.0.18 download folder contains the latest iOptimize files.

    Summary of Feature Additions or Changes

    ·         Assure Unified Interface communications will now only use HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure).

    ·         To better support secure communications, Assure Unified Interface will now use a new Precisely certificate which expires yearly and gets automatically replaced.  Users that cannot use self-signed certificates: prior to upgrading, please contact Support, for instructions on how to apply your own certificates.

    ·         There are 19 fixes in this release.

    ·         Reminder:   As of Assure MIMIX 10.0.13.00, Product-Level Security (PLS) is now required to be enabled for License Manager (LAKEVIEW library) and Assure MIMIX (all installation libraries).

    o   See the Product Level Security changes for License Manager and MIMIX for details.

    ·         Reminder:   IBM i 7.3 is now the minimum supported operating system.
