Announcement

Precisely announces the release of Assure MIMIX 10.0.19.00. This release provides either a new install or an upgrade from all previous release levels of Assure MIMIX 10.0 and 9.0.

Precisely encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to the latest release for Assure MIMIX.  Details of the fixes and new features contained within this release can be found in the associated Release Notes.  

How to Download and Activate the Assure MIMIX Software

To access the software and license tools, you must have a Precisely (Customer or Partner) Community account established and have license entitlement.

Run the Install Wizard on a Windows PC to install the software and apply license keys.  Other options to install and apply license keys are documented in the License Manager for IBM i Products manual.

*Note:  Assure iOptimize files are available in the Assure MIMIX download folders.  Assure MIMIX 10.0.18 download folder contains the latest iOptimize files.

Summary of Feature Additions or Changes

• ATTENTION!   IBM i 7.3 is now the minimum supported operating system.
• Improvements have been made to the RJ Link Monitors which will improve the restart capability when a Remote Journal should be running, but is not.  These improvements will also result in fewer active MIMIX jobs in the MIMIX subsystem (MIMIXSBS).
• MIMIX now supports secure connections for port jobs.  Both SECURE and UNSECURE communication modes are available.  See Release notes for detailed upgrade planning information.
• The Data Protection Report (DPR), previously only available in Assure Unified Interface, is now available in the 5250 user interface. 
• There are 10 fixes in this release.
• Reminder:   As of Assure MIMIX 10.0.13.00, Product-Level Security (PLS) is now required to be enabled for License Manager (LAKEVIEW library) and Assure MIMIX (all installation libraries).
