    Assure MIMIX 10.0.17

    Announcement

    Precisely announces the release of Assure MIMIX 10.0.17.00. This release provides either a new install or an upgrade from all previous release levels of Assure MIMIX 10.0 and 9.0.

    Precisely encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to the latest release for Assure MIMIX.  Details of the fixes and new features contained within this release can be found in the associated Release Notes.

     

    How to Download and Activate the Assure MIMIX Software

    To access the software and license tools, you must have a Precisely (Customer or Partner) Community account established and have license entitlement.

    Run the Install Wizard on a Windows PC to install the software and apply license keys.  Other options to install and apply license keys are documented in the License Manager for IBM i Products manual.

    *Note:  Assure iOptimize files are available in the Assure MIMIX download folders.  Assure MIMIX 10.0.15 download folder contains the latest iOptimize files.

     

    Summary of Feature Additions or Changes

    ·         ATTENTION!   In the next service pack, IBM i 7.3 will become the minimum supported operating system.    Please plan accordingly.

    ·         Assure MIMIX now has the ability to cancel an in-progress recovery.

    ·         Assure MIMIX now supports the Image Catalog (*IMGCLG) object type.

    ·         There are 12 fixes in this release.

    ·         Reminder:   As of Assure MIMIX 10.0.13.00, Product-Level Security (PLS) is now required to be enabled for License Manager (LAKEVIEW library) and Assure MIMIX (all installation libraries).

    o   See the Product Level Security changes for License Manager and MIMIX for details.

    Assure Unified Interface and Assure MIMIX Portal App version:

    ·         10.0.17.00

    ·         7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 7.5

    Tested browsers for the Assure Unified Interface:

    ·         Current versions of Chrome™, Firefox®, Internet Explorer 11 and greater, Edge, Safari

    Supported Windows OS for the Assure Unified Interface Server on Windows and Installation Wizard:

    ·         Windows® 10, Windows® Server 2016, Windows® Server 2012R2, Windows® Server 2019               

    Dependencies:

    ·         Run the PTF Check Utility to check for all recommended IBM i PTFs.
