Announcement
Precisely announces the release of Assure MIMIX 10.0.11.00. This release provides either a new install or an upgrade from all previous release levels of Assure MIMIX 10.0 and 9.0.
Precisely encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to the latest release for Assure MIMIX. Details of the fixes and new features contained within this release can be found in the associated ReadMe document.
Please note: Product release announcements are now posted to the Assure MIMIX Product Announcements Forum through our Knowledge Communities.
· If you currently have a Precisely User Account, then you already have access to the Knowledge Communities. Your Precisely user account is the email address you use to access the Precisely.com web apps: Customer Community, Partner Community (Partners only), Precisely Ideas, or Knowledge Communities.
· After January 6, 2023, Product Announcements will only be posted in the Knowledge Communities, and the only emails sent out will be from the forums that you have joined and for which you have turned on notifications.
· Product release announcements will still be posted in the Assure MIMIX Product Support Site
How to Download and Activate the Assure MIMIX Software
To access the software and license tools, you must have a Precisely (Customer or Partner) Community account established and have license entitlement.
To download the software: Use the Precisely Data Experience link.
Run the Install Wizard on a Windows PC to install the software and apply license keys. Other options to install and apply license keys are documented in the Using License Manager manual.
*Note: Assure iOptimize files are available in the Assure MIMIX download section at the equivalent release level.
Summary of Feature Additions or Changes
· ATTENTION! During upgrade process, the MIMIX product libraries, and the LAKEVIEW library, will be changed to have their public authority set to *EXCLUDE. See TECHNICAL ALERT 220916 - Assure Security-MIMIX-iTERA-iOptimize-Connect CDC - Upcoming Library Authority Changes.
To avoid any downtime or disruption to your operation, ACTION MUST BE TAKEN to ensure users have appropriate authorities to these libraries.
In general, Precisely recommends a review of the following areas that may be affected:
· User profiles for users who need to access the MIMIX software, and their current authorities.
· User profiles used by any automated jobs or tasks which access MIMIX or License Manager and their current authorities.
· User and system library lists, job descriptions and user profile initial menu and initial program to make sure that MIMIX installation libraries and LAKEVIEW libraries are not specified.

· New options to support object analysis on 5250 work panels.
The new options are:
Option 91=Description. Displays the description of the object.
Option 92=Authorities. Displays the authorities for the object.
Option 93=Locks. Displays any locks on the object.
Option 94=Contents. Displays the contents of the object.
Option 95=DB Relations. Displays the database relations of the file.
Option 99=Run command. Runs the command specified on the command line for the object.
· Improvements to replication and switching of the job schedule entries, allowing for better control when the entries differ between source and target.
· New Load Jrn-Centric Cfg Data Grp (LODJCCDG) allows you to select one or more journals on the source node that are not associated with an existing journal definition and creates journal-centric configuration.
· There are 2 fixes in this release.
