    Hi Everyone - Hope you are all doing well.

    I am also hoping you may be able to provide some feed-back on the below issue we have encountered:

    After installing Automate Studio 25.1, users can no longer open SAP Analysis for Office (AO).  We are experiencing this issue with both Desktop users as well as Appstream users.  We believe it may have something to do with both applications sharing some library but haven't definitively determined that to be the cause. For now, we are working on a work-around for all users that require both automate studio and AO.  We will have users access automate studio through appstream and NOT install it on desktops because it is breaking AO.  If anyone out there has encounter this issue and found a solution, I'd love to here from you as soon as possible as this is impacting monthly financial activities.  Thank you!

    Hi Emma

    We used to encounter Excel add-in incompatibilities more in older version - like version 10 and 11.  I haven't run into one in quite some time, but then I don't have all of the products our customers have. :)

    I don't have SAP Analysis for Office Excel add-in, so I can't comment specifically on it.  It may be best to open a support ticket about this one, as it can be customer and environment specific. However if anyone has any experience with the same issue and has any inputs, we'd appreciate you sharing it.

    Hi Emma, 

    We have just encountered the exact same issue, specifically...

    User was working in Analysis for Office (2.8.700.95947) just fine. Today they then installed Automate Studio (25.0100.2506.17003) and now they are having all sorts of issues with AO. 

    The main issue is that when they are trying to launch AO they get the message "Could not start (or attach to) Excel Application". I have tried various un-installs and re-installs with no luck.

    Were you able to resolve this issue and does it sound similar to what you were experiencing?
