  • 1.  3D Menu in Standard MapInfo License

    Hi All.

    I need help with our MapInfo 2023 Standard License. Why cant we view 3D map? the menu is freeze, seems it is not activated.

    As far from my reading, standard license do support 3D map viewing. Can someone explain. Thank you.

    Hi

    You are right. The standard version of MapInfo Pro does allow you to view existing 3D map windows that have been created and saved to a workspace using MapInfo Pro Advanced or MapInfo Pro Subscription which also is MapInfo Pro Advanced.

    Just like the MapInfo Pro Raster add-in, we allow you to view existing raster data/3D maps in the standard version of MapInfo Pro.

    However you cannot create new 3D maps or add additional layers to an existing 3D map.
