  • 1.  Set layer default transparency

    Hello, I would like to submit to the forum a question about editing the default layer style, I don't know if other users have already had the same problem.
It's easy to change hatch, colors and borders: I make the layer editable, I select all the objects, map menu => style to modify, save the changes.
Is it possible to set the default level of transparency as well (alpha parameter)?
Transparency is a property linked to the workspace, can I save it in the layer style such as colors? Do I need to work with mapbasic script?

    Hi Michele

    Transparency is saved with the layer and is currently only saved in a workspace.
    When you change the style of the objects as you describe, you change the style of the objects as they are saved in the tab file.
