  • 1.  Importing transparent Raster Image

    Hello,

    I have created a GIF image and was hoping that upon import it would preserve it's transparency.
    It seems I am wrong. I seem to remember that years ago I  had the same idea and it didn't work.

    Any Ideas or just the confirmation that it will not work would be nice.

    Hi Georges,

    You can assign a colour in the GIF to be interpreted as transparent.
    Go into the layer properties for the raster, choose a style override and select the colour that you want to be transparent (white in your case).
