  • 1.  MapInfo PDF Printer Version 17.0 x64 swaps colour for black

    hi. Im guessing my answer will be update to v19 but here goes.
    I run MapInfo Pro v17.0.2 build 16 with Datamine Discover and I am producing town Road maps with some features like sports grounds, schools museums etc POI
    For the second time now, the PDF output as above (MIP PDF v17x64
    Mapinfo is the top. PDF is below with some black icons
    ) has decided some POINT features will be rendered in black, not the chosen colour. Last time I simply reverted to an earlier version that was running out colours OK. Its happened again and I can go back but wonder why? It is complex in that there are up to 65 items in the map
    Any ideas or workarounds?

    Hi Richard

    I'd recommend that you try checking the Enable Postscript Simulation option on the MapInfo Pro PDF Printer driver.

    You can find this option on the Advanced Options tab.

    If you make this change via Printers & Scanner and not through MapInfo Pro, the change will be sticky between MapInfo Pro sessions.
