  • 1.  Open table in same session on double click

    Hello all

    Last week my PC did this fine, this week every time I double click a saved tab file it reopens MI and starts a new session.

    I had this issue ages ago on my old pc but this is a new pc and only just started having this issue this week.

    Please, does anyone have a solution for this incredibly frustrating problem??

    Hi Rebecca, 

    This has something to do with your registry entries. I would need the details if the below does not help you resolve the issue. 

    Go to the MapInfo install directory in the command line and execute the below commands:

    mapinfow.exe -unregserver
     mapinfow.exe -regserver

    This should resolve the issue and the tab file should open in the same MapInfo Pro session. Else, i will need other registry details.
