    Hi all,

    Anyone know if is possible to create and manipulate a Table in .Net without a MapInfo instance running?

    Hi Nuno,

    Currently you can use our MapXtreme.NET product​ which is a developer sdk. It is not free.

    We do plan to make a free library available for reading/writing/creating MapInfo Tables (including Native X) via a C++ standalone library and also GDAL both of which could be wrapped via .net. We expect to do this sometime this year but as a partner we could possibly make it available to you.
