Hi Liz
We supply a rather comprehensive Install Guide with MapInfo Pro which also provides advice on silent installations – and uninstallation.
From the Install Guide for MapInfo Pro v2021:
Uninstalling Silently
From the command line on the target computer type:
msiexec.exe /x {6CF21AEE-78F0-465A-B48A-039409366564} /q
Running this command only uninstalls MapInfo Pro 2021. It does not uninstall a previous version of MapInfo Pro. It does not uninstall MapInfo ProViewer, MapInfo Runtime, or MapBasic.
Note: The uninstall key is unique to each version of MapInfo Pro. To silently uninstall an older version of MapInfo Pro, you would need to use its product code (uninstall key). These keys are in the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
It does however seem that we haven't updated the keys in the last couple of Install Guides so you need to use these keys for MapInfo Pro v2019 and v2021:
MIPRO v2019
MsiExec.exe /x {3DA404AA-7A68-4B22-B1F7-E31801F79009} /q
MIPRO v2021
MsiExec.exe /x {C4E0BEA6-799D-4117-AA1F-CB0CF742BA63} /q
Hope this helps

Subject: Upgrading from MapInfo 2019 to 2021
Hello
We are in the process of upgrading 75 MapInfo users from 2019 to 2021 and we have a question relating to the deployment.
During the testing, MapInfo 2021 installs however MapInfo 2019 remains on the device (but it doesn't work). Ideally we'd like 2019 to uninstall as part of this process. Is this possible? We are currently deploying this using SCCM.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Liz
