What is the best method connecting SSA to T1 or another database server?

I'm assuming by T1 you mean technology one? 
Spectrum Spatial offer JDBC connections if needed to connect to data at the database level. Application to Application integration is also possible via the generic link framework which allows you to link in both directions from a third party application.

To carry out two-way dynamic linking to Tech One products (where selected records in SSA are displayed in the Tech One front end) it is worth checking that the Tech One API is available at your site.  There are other options but these may require some manual steps.  At the SSA end you will need Applinking enabled.  A 3rd-party middleware product can then be used to carry out the actual link.
